Thats why you go in the store and buy it.. not Ebay.

That stinks hope this helps you out a bit
Well you can report it to ebay under your options after buying the item. you have to go to report item not received. the description sais if you did NOT receive the item or the item was NOT received as described. If the item page sais nothing about it being USED then you cannot do anything. However if it says that it is NOT in use then you can report it. I would think that the cd key was fairly cheap and even if you did get scammed this time, look at the persons feedback next time before you buy something else. Consider this a life long lesson, and even though ive never been scammed before i would hate to feel what its like to be scammed, so i hope my response makes you feel a little bit comfortable. If in the end you cannot do anything about getting your money back then i would leave very negative feedback for this seller. Make it count because this is ur only chance to get back at him and it stays there for basically ever. Good luck man.

If you bought a used account on ebay, they should change the email address of the account for you, then give you the password.

Thanks and have fun. I have more CD Keys Email me back If you would like to request a different CD Key. ". This is f***ed up . I put in a paypal claim and a ebay claim. ill talk to the guy tomorow if he signs on to msn see what he says. Last edited by Epiph; Aug 19, 2005 at 05:03 AM // 05:03.. |

And you we're like "ok" when you read that? Christ, what were you thinking, that's "warez", man. Illegal, not allowed, verboten et cetera. Well, you learned your lesson. |

Well I'll give you a heads up on what you can do when you buy on ebay.
Rule number 1.Check their feed back. 2. Dont buy from ppl that have less than 10 sales/purchases. 3. Read their feedbacks if their are a few. 4. If they have more than 1 or 2 negatives forget it .. unless they got 1000s of sales an then go read them. Your going to have some people that will disagree or expect the world in their purchase. 5.If there is ANY question about the product or its nature send a message. If they dont respond. Dont buy. If they do, its more written support for your cause. 6. (MOST IMPORTANT) ALWAYS pay by credit card. Now I'll tell you why, Charges on credit cards can be pulled back within 60 days. If you have a viable reason and explain it to the CC company. They will back you up. because MO dont get you your money back. Debit cards are not back by the bank they are backed by you. Paypal seems to favor the seller rather than the buyer, they are slow to respond and generally dont care about your problem. Why.. because if they give you your money back.. they dont get paid. In addition, it doesnt matter what PP finds in their decision. If the credit card company says they back there customer... the money is accually taken away from paypal because they are the middle man. So it encourages them to go in your way in findings. I got scammed two times out of over 200 purchases on ebay, and in both cases I got my money charged back to my card immediately. Last edited by wbaldwin67; Aug 19, 2005 at 05:16 PM // 17:16.. |

never buy an online game, or any game that requires an account, on auction sites. chances are the cd keys have already been used to create accounts.
i thought this is common sense... or not... |

omg .. you bought a cd key off of some guy who has 'lots'? 'If that doesn't work, contact me I will give you another?'
red flag right there ... Anet should pull your account, track you down, torture you to tell them all contact information of said man, and sick brutus and his dogs on that cracker jack. |
